Two incredible Maine-based businesses teamed up to brew the perfect summertime beer—for the boat, the beach, or the backyard. But this isn’t just about good beer. With the Atlantic striped bass population at a historic low, Striper Season is brewed with a purpose: amplifying the fight for an iconic fishery. All sales support ASGA’s fight for science-driven management to conserve striped bass.

Striped Bass Need Our Help.
Striped bass are the heartbeat of coastal fisheries along the Atlantic Coast. From Maine to North Carolina, millions of anglers rely on stripers for connection, community and angling opportunity. Thousands of businesses—from fishing guides and tackle shops to restaurants and hotels—are built upon that angling community. Stripers are the poster child for fisheries conservation. They hit rock bottom in the 1980s and roared back after a moratorium. Sadly, in recent years, things have taken a turn for the worse. The fish are less abundant and are spawning less. The stories of “what it used to be” are becoming all too common as we trend towards repeating the past.
The Chesapeake Bay is the quintessential nursery for Atlantic striped bass. Unfortunately, we have documented historically poor spawns for six straight years: the worst span on record. Without long-term conservation efforts and science-based management, we risk losing the most iconic and accessible saltwater fishery on the East Coast. That’s why ASGA exists: to educate, empower and give a voice to the voiceless: our shared fisheries. And now, you can support that fight by drinking beer. Does it get any better than that?
